We're Hiring a .NET Dev

The totally awesome company I'm working for, Panamedia Group, is hiring a junior .NET developer.

This is what we're looking for:
  • 0-3 years experience: Pro experience is great, but we're willing to look at a competent beginner.
  • C# programming skills: We use Visual Studio, but you need to be able to code without it. SQL is also a must.
  • Self-starter: We're a very small team, you need to be able to take a project and run without babysitting
  • Take direction: Our lead programmer is very, very good at what he does, and wants to teach you. You have to be teachable.
  • Solid: We don't have the padding of a corporate juggernaut. We work fast, and we work hard, and you need to be able to take responsibility for your work and deliver good code. Competence is rewarded, mediocrity is not.
  • Extras: If you know any of the following, you get sent to the front of the line: CSS, ActionScript, IT, Mobile Platforms

Panamedia Group is a very progressive, very exciting place to work. There's no corporate BS, you'll talk directly with the owners on a regular basis, and you won't get any of the usual "you don't need to know that" garbage you find everywhere else. We all work openly and together. We have Fortune 500 clients that you've heard the names of in regular conversation, and we work on some very cool, very important projects for them. We're also building a new software product that I expect will become a leader in its industry, you'll be working directly on it.

This is a great job for someone looking to grow their career. If you've read this blog much, you know I have a pretty good idea of what a good job is. This is an incredible job. It pays like it should for the local market, it has very good benefits, the work environment is the best I've ever had, and the company is growing very fast. If you're good, you can grow with us.

If you think you fit the bill, send your resume (text or PDF) to HireMe [at] pmgstl.com. If you have any questions, send them there. If you know someone else that might be interested, then tell them to read this post and send in their resume while they have the chance.
